(Innovative projects in the organic world) was created in 1999 by its founder, Roberto Durante, as a consultancy company for companies in the food sector looking to develop innovative projects for the new millennium. Innovation, therefore, but also respecting nature and a new way of understanding nutrition.
In 2006, when Roberto’s son, Valerio Durante, joined the company, it became a family business and turned into a commercial company, beginning with the import and distribution of Himalayan pink salt.
In 2014, when Paolo Durante, the second of Roberto’s sons, joined the company, the business was once again updated, adding food production to its consolidated commercial activities.
The year 2021 brought with it a new way of interpreting the business. The company was converted into UOP Srl SB (A Benefit Company), not in order to revolutionise it, but simply to formalise the style and values that have always distinguished it.
